Summer Reading?
Anyone have any suggestions about a good, somewhat light book to read? I read the Shack and loved it. If I don't have any suggestions, I might read it again. I like Christian Fiction but not prairie day books and no mystery...Help!

I'm excited to get our kids fit!!!
From Texas, Coach Stephanie Richardson shares how Shaun T's Fit Kids™ Club is helping her grow her business while helping kids in her area get healthy. "We went to a Vendor Fair for our school district to promote the Shaun T's Fit Kids Club videos as a fundraiser. The reception was tremendous. We've put together a packet to give to the school principals along with a FREE video of Shaun T's Fit Kids Club for the Physical Education teacher to play during class. Texas just passed a new fitness initiative in the schools so this couldn't have come at a better time! The kids LOVE the DVD, too! We are hoping to have a 'Fit Kids Month' where each campus participates. The children will commit to exercising 3 to 4 times a week and make healthy food choices. Those who stick with it will be entered into a drawing. Along with this contest, we are going to have other contests for parents and teachers. We are anxious to start in the fall in several of the schools in our district and neighboring districts. Wouldn't it be great to replace Cookie Dough Sales with Fitness Products?

Last Neighborhood Workout...until the Fall?
We completed our neighborhood workout today. Can you believe it has been 12 weeks? Crazy! Our attendance dropped because of summer but we tried to keep it going. Our biggest group was 7.
Here are some pictures of our last workout. Thanks to all my neighborhood workout buddies! Hope we can start back up in the Fall when the kids are back in school!

Our Week In Review
It's summer, obviously, so I wanted you to see a glimpse into how we occupy our time...
Monday:
*Breakfast at Chick fil a (don't judge...I need a CFA biscuit at least once a week)
*Grocery Store Shopping (not fun with the kids...I end up buying way too much junk)
*Christa came over to "workout" but we end up talking for 2 1/2 hours instead
*Go to doctor Appointment (which had to be rescheduled when I got there due to a baby delivery)
*Christa comes back over to workout
*Go to Christa's in-law's pool (our community pool was shut down due to poo in the pool...no lie!)
*Christa and Taylor join us for dinner
Tuesday:
*Skip neighborhood workout to go get Weber kids
*Take all the kids to Coppell pool...but it isn't open for another hour so we play on playground until it opens
*I go down the slide about a million times, play sharks and minnows, etc.
*Lunch at Chick Fil A (I had a salad...seriously!)
(don't they look silly?)
*Dinner with "the girls" (much needed) at La Ha
Wednesday:
*Jake makes this sign:
(You have to read this...he misses his friends and just wants to be social!)
*Go to the doctor again...
(Waiting patiently while playing DS in waiting room)
*I feel sorry for Jake so we invite friends to go see "Nim's Island" with us at the $1 movie
*Friends come over to play and swim
*Workout after dinner
Thursday:
*Both boys get friends to come over...who arrive at 8:30am! (yes, I had to wake up early on this day...hee hee!)
*Go to the pool...again!
*Kids still play with their friends while I do Yoga
*Kids spend the night with Mimi & Pops with cousins
*Jeffrey & I go on a DATE to see Hancock and to the new Blue Goose that just opened...heavenly date night!
Friday:
*Non eventful 4th...don't even have pictures...sorry! I did wear a red and white shirt, though! And Jake did eat 4 hot dogs!
So, that is a week in review at the Richardson's house.

2 weeks from Today...
I will be on my 10th Anniversary trip and will have completed my first round of P90X! Yippee!!!
I bought a new camera to take with me. I'm hoping it is good. I switched from my Olympus (second one I've had) to the Canon Powershot SD750. Any comments?
I can't believe I've almost finished P90X! Since I started, I have 6 friends who have started! P90X is all over the place! Have you heard about it yet? Ready for the challenge? Need a new boost to your body?
